Compare PDFs
Compare two PDFs and find every difference — as a text diff down to the word and character level, and as a visual diff with highlighted changes, side by side or overlaid. Everything runs entirely in your browser: no uploads, no accounts.
Load an original and a changed version, then start the comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The entire comparison — text extraction, diff and page rendering — runs in your browser. The files never leave your computer.
What is the difference between the text diff and the visual diff?
The text diff compares the extracted text content page by page, line by line and even word by word — changed characters within a word are highlighted. The visual diff renders both PDFs to images and marks the areas that differ optically — including layout, graphics and font changes a pure text diff cannot see.
Does the tool detect added or moved pages?
Yes. The pages of both documents are matched by content. An inserted or deleted page is marked as such; a page moved to a different position is recognised as “moved” rather than a deletion plus a re-insertion.
Does the tool cost anything?
No. No sign-up, no watermarks, no limit.
